The scent of fresh espresso lingers in the air as you step onto the terrace of the villa's charming old farm, preparing for a day filled with creativity, inspiration, and unforgettable experiences.
We are thrilled to invite you to an exclusive experience: Painting & Wine: Tuscany edition, a five-day immersive retreat where art, culture, and nature blend into an extraordinary journey.
Guided by Maricela Del Rio, you will refine your painting skills in two daily sessions (morning and afternoon/evening) in a small, intimate group surrounded by breathtaking Tuscan landscape. The sessions will take place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
The Retreat
This retreat is perfect for all levels of painters, whether you are a beginner looking to explore your creative side or an experienced artist seeking fresh inspiration. It's also ideal for couples, friends and solo travelers - a wonderful way to meet like-minded people and share a unique, enriching experience.

Truffle-Hunting
Between the painting sessions, you will venture into the Tuscany countryside for a truffle-hunting adventure, guided by expert truffle hunters and their trained dog.
After the hunt, enjoy a delicious truffle-infused lunch, savoring the rich and earthy flavours of this local treasure.

Step into a traditional Tuscan kitchen and learn the art of handmade pasta in a pasta-making class. Guided by local experts, you'll craft fresh, authentic pasta from scratch. After the workshop, sit down to enjoy your homemade creations in a delightful restaurant setting.

We designed this retreat as an "all-inclusive" experience, so you can fully immerse yourself in creativity and relaxation without worrying about logistics.

Accommodation: 4 nights 5 days in a traditional Tuscan villa, see below for more information and accommodation options.

All meals and drinks: dinner on the day of arrival, breakfast, lunch, dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.

Daily Painting Sessions: Guided painting sessions with Maricela Del Rio.

Three exclusive experiences: Truffle hunting, wine tasting, and a hands-on pasta-making class.

Airport transfers: Round-trip transfers between Florence and the retreat location. Timing is based on the direct flight from Brussels.

Due to high demand during our previous retreat, we are offering an additional small loft just
5-minute walk from the villa. It can accommodate one or two guests and includes one matrimonial bed.

To ensure a truly intimate and enriching experience, this retreat will only proceed with a minimum of 8 participants.
Non-Painting Guest (Sharing Double Room)
Available only for guests who share a double room with a participant enrolled in the painting experience.
If your partner will not participate in the painting activity, please let us know so we can provide the adjusted total price.
Payment Details

To secure your spot, an initial 200EUR deposit is requested upon registration per person; this deposit will be used as part of the first 30% deposit in case the retreat goes ahead. If the retreat doesn't go ahead, this deposit will be fully refunded.

Once we reach this number, you’ll receive an invitation to confirm your spot with a 30% non-refundable deposit.

The remaining balance will be paid in two installments:
First - 40% end of May (non-refundable)
Second - 30% end of August (non-refundable)

The retreat will take place only if a minimum of 8 participants is reached.

The deposits made according to the schedule above are non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy
After confirmation of the retreat:

From January 1, 2026, 30% of the total amount paid is non-refundable.

From June 1, 2026, 70% of the total amount is non-refundable.
-
From September 1, 2026, 100% of the total amount paid is non-refundable.
Dietary Requirements & Itinerary Changes

Dietary requirements can be accommodated if communicated at least 30 days before departure.

The itinerary and activities are subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
Important Considerations

Travel insurance is strongly recommended, but not included in the retreat package.

Flights and personal expenses (including extras on the spot) are not included.

Transfers in your home country are not included.

Flights are not included.

Lunch on arrival day (Wednesday) is not included.

We recommend bringing mosquito repellent or anything else you may need for comfort during outdoor activities. We will be surrounded by beautiful nature.

Please note that the villa has Wi-Fi only in public areas and a limited phone signal.
